Hi, I have no idea what to tell you about me. But I’ll start like I did in kindergarten.
My name is Camelia, and I’m 32 years old. Also, I started this food blog for the love of food.
It might seem like a normal thing that people do. But for me, it’s a huge step forward! And I’m trying to keep my cool. And failing as I’m writing these sentences. But here I am, going forward.
I was a happy kid as far as I can remember. And I still feel like a small child in a grown-up’s body. But things happen that make you grow, especially mentally. For me, my life lesson happened in 2013, when I was diagnosed with a form of bone cancer in my right knee. Long story short, my entire right leg was amputated, but life still goes on, and there is nothing I can do about it.
Except how you feel about it. I feel lucky! I am still here; I am now happily married, and together with my husband, we create, test out, and learn older family recipes from our parents and grandparents.
And the best part is that sometimes it just so happens that your body tells you when the food you make is amazing. And it does a little dance while savoring awesome flavors. That, for me, happens when I cook some bites of awesomeness and share them with my husband, family, friends, and anyone else around.
Hopefully, if you try my recipes, your body will do a little dance of happiness too! So c’mon and test out different types of foodies, with various meats or vegetarian, soups, desserts, etc.
Thank you for being here!
Also, I might continue to tell my life story in a blog every now and then. So if you want, check out updates on my blog.
